Benefit Concert Organized by the Proteck Financial Network Eastern Quebec Ltd.

December 3, 2005 – The Proteck Financial Network, with the support of several large-scale sponsors and influential personalities from the Québec City area, hired the choir "Les Amoureux de la musique" for a concert at the Sainte-Angèle-de-Saint-Malo Church, on December 3. The goal of this concert was to reduce Kathy Tremblay's financial costs related to her training.

The evening was presided by Ms. Francine Lortie, President of the Québec City Chamber of Commerce Council.

It was a wonderful evening, filled with emotion.

Tremblay Top Canadian in World Championship Action

September 10, 2005 – Tremblay Top Canadian in World Championship Action 2005-09-10 -- Gamagori, Japan Kathy Tremblay steals the show!

Kathy Tremblay from Ste.Foy, Quebec was the top Canadian. She had stated that she wanted to crack the top 10 and beat her last year's ranking of 9th place. Not only did she accomplish all those goals, but she cracked the top 5, placing 5th. This is her last year of competition in the U23 field.

Proteck Ltd. Financial Network presents a substantial purse to Kathy Tremblay

June 15 2005 – The main associates of Proteck Ltd. Financial Network, Marc Patry and Rock Poulin, have held their first Proteck Golf Classic, Tuesday June 14th, at the Le Sorcier Golf Club. As Kathy Tremblay’s financial partner for almost a year, they organized this fundraiser to help her prepare for the 2008 Olympic games.

Proteck Ltd. Financial Network has done another fundraiser, last Friday, through an exclusive provincial deal with l’APECQ (l’Association Patronale des Entreprises en Construction du Québec). A substantial purse was presented to this athlete, originally from Gatineau.

Proteck Ltd. Financial Network has scheduled three additional fundraisers by the end of 2005 to help our best Canadian hope in triathlon.

Kathy honoured as « Athlete par excellence de niveau national » at Loisir Sport Outaouais Gala

June 1, 2005 – Kathy has received the most prestigious award given to an athlete, June 1st, at a regional sports and leisure reception. The provincial deputy of Chapleau, M. Benoît Pelletier, presented Kathy with a purse in recognition of her outstanding performance last season. « It is an honour and a most beautiful acknowledgement. It encourages me, at the beginning of the new season, to continue to perform well and outdo myself » commented Kathy

Kathy Tremblay nominated "Triathlete of the Year - U23" by Triathlon Canada

February 23, 2005 – Message from Triathlon Canada - February 23, 2005 Congratulations!
In recognition of your accomplishments in 2004, the Board of Directors of Triathlon Canada has selected you as: "U23 Female Triathlete of the Year" Triathlon Canada is proud to host the seventh annual "Triathlon Canada Awards Night" that is being held to honour you and the other "Athletes of the Year" on April 2, 2005 at the Kahanoff Centre in Calgary.
I would like to once again congratulate you Kathy, on your outstanding accomplishments in 2004 and wish you all the best for 2005.

Press conference announcing important support between “Proteck Financial Network Ltd.” and Kathy Tremblay

January 24, 2005 – The press conference that was held on February 22, announcing my agreement with “Proteck Financial Network”, was a success. Several reporters and consultants from the Proteck financial network were on hand to underline this important event. You must understand that, thanks to this new sponsor, I will be able to fulfil several steps that will lead me to perform at different levels. This press conference allowed me to talk about my path over the past ten years, the factors that will make a difference in attaining my short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals, and finally, about the importance for an athlete to be supported by dynamic partners, such as the “Proteck Financial Network”.

You must know that being selected for the Olympic team, and participating in the 2008 Olympic Games, are not the only challenges to take note of. I care a lot about health, and the importance of physical activity. I love challenges and I hope to inspire people to get in shape and take care of their bodies. That’s another goal that I particularly like.

A triathlete from Quebec supported until the 2008 Olympic Games

The management team at the Proteck Financial Network will make the official announcement on Tuesday, February 22, 2005, of a sponsorship agreement between the financial services firm, who are experts in disability insurance, and triathlete, Kathy Tremblay, one of the best medal hopefuls for Canada in 2008.

Mr. Robert Jeanneault, President and Founder of the Proteck Financial Network, will reveal an innovative strategy to support the young athlete through all the stages leading to the Olympic Games in Beijing.

New association for Kathy Tremblay with Cyclo-sportif G.M. Bertrand

January 28, 2005 – The owners of the store G.M. Bertrand have helped Kathy Tremblay, a triathlete from the Ottawa area, by providing her with a high-performance bike for her next season. For a top Olympic athlete, the addition of a sponsor is crucial, and directly related to a season’s performance “There is a trusting relationship between us; I am not just a marketing tool, said Kathy. I am tied to two very good people.”

With this new partnership, Kathy Tremblay has very good reasons to look forward to the upcoming 2005 season.
